"The Lobby Shop" by Marriot
Client: Tery R. Young Design & Merchandising,
brand identity development, visual presentation strategies,
and store design
Tery R. Young works with some of the most recognizable names in the retail and hospitality industries. In concert with Marriot’s retail executives, Tery developed an innovative brand-wide store concept that allowed for consistency across sites along with location-specific creativity. The rendering was used on the cover of the Marriot’s Retail Design Guide, as well as in presentations to retail managers. Marriot appreciated having a visual that captured the uniqueness of the concept and the details in the product selection, displays, materials and finishes in advance of the store build-outs.
A hand-rendering would have been cost-prohibitive given the amount of detail we needed to show. 123Dview gave me better view options and exact product, and allowed for changes. In the future, when we want to show color modifications, it becomes relatively easy and inexpensive. 
Compared with having a hand-drawing produced, 123Dview’s rendering saved us more than 50%.
